Giulia Giambrone is a young art historian and researcher based in Venice. Her thesis on the work of Luigi Ontani was the occasion for their first meeting. Emanuele Trevi is one of Italy's greatest writers, winner of the 2021 Premio Strega, and collaborates with Corriere della Sera; for years, he has regularly written about Luigi Ontani’s work, and together they have produced books such as the one about their trip to Bali (Ontani a Bali, Humboldt Books, 2016, Milan). Elena Volpato included the early seminal videos of Luigi Ontani from the late 1960s in the collection of the Videoteca of GAM Torino, which she founded, and curated the exhibition Alam Jiwa & Vanitas in 2021 in the Wunderkammer space.
