The Public Programme is one of Luci d'Artista's core activities. Born in 2018 as an educational programme of events aimed at the citizens of Turin with the aim of strengthening inclusivity and broadening the audience of users.     

The Public Program, from the 26th edition of Luci d'Artista, has taken the title of Academy of Light, and with its birth, it was decided to set all the activities around a precise curatorial vision and a specific theme: for the 26th edition, the theme identified was ‘Light and Poetic Word’.  

Luci d'Artista, like every contemporary art institution, from 2023 transcends its classic winter and Christmas boundaries to live throughout the year. Just as the winter event is defined by a nocturnal dimension (electric light, presence of physically imposing works), the other activities in spring and summer are defined by diametrically opposite concepts, linked to a diurnal dimension and to interventions that are as ephemeral and immaterial as possible, such as poetic performances.
