A fundamental role in this growth path of Luci d'Artista is played by Accademia della Luce, the Public Program of Luci d'Artista; a path of initiatives and activities that integrate and accompany the light installations in the city since 2018. As part of Accademia della Luce eight museums in Turin - Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea, Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, GAM - Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, MAO Museo d'Arte Orientale and PAV Parco Arte Vivente to which from this year for the first time are MAUTO - Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and OGR Officine Grandi Riparazioni thanks to their Education Departments promote opportunities for debate and actions with the schools in the territory, bringing Lights and contemporary art closer to the classical education, becoming protagonists of targeted educational proposals for all of Turin's districts. The theme of this year's edition is “Light and gesture” and will see the involvement of a group of performers who will be asked to work around the theme of Light. In January 2025 there will be in the GAM Torino spaces a conference on the work of one of the two authors of the new Lights, Maestro Luigi Ontani. The entire programme of the Academy of Light however, as in the past edition, will conclude with a major event during the summer solstice, on 21 June 2025.
