Poet, visual artist, performer, lives in Lisbon. He completed an advanced course in visual arts at Ar.Co in Lisbon and studied drawing and sculpture at the Royal College of Arts in London. He completed an MA in Performing Art and Cinema at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is the author of a hybrid work between visual arts, performance and poetry, which he has presented since 1991 in various cultural institutions and galleries such as the Serralves Museum, MAAT, Culturgest, Gulbenkian, the Carmona e Costa Foundation, the Soares dos Reis Museum, the ZDB Gallery, Gallery 111, the Fernando Pessoa House, the GIAJG, among others. He has published five books of poetry: Torre de Juan Abad (Assírio e Alvim), Livro da Luz (Documenta), Medicin (Douda Correria), Come Coral (Douda Correria), O Agitador e a Corrente (written with Mumtazz and published by Mariposa Azual).
La performance
The performance consists of a dialogue between <<voice and Kora>> through the poems Livro da Luz, O Abanador e a Ribeira, Vem Coral, Medicin. Improvisation is also an integral part of this dialogue between music and words.
