25 october 2024 - 12 january 2025
Every year, during the winter period, the City of Turin is transformed into an open-air laboratory of light installations by great artists Italian and international artists. The Luci were born in 1998 as exceptional illuminations to celebrate the Christmas festivities, and immediately became the subject of an ambitious objective ambitious: to create a public collection expressing ‘a high culture capable of communicating with everyone’, as stated by Fiorenzo Alfieri, who was its was its visionary creator. Luci d'Artista is today a real contemporary art institution active all year round, and increasingly open and sustainable. The Constellation section and Academy of Light play a crucial role and make it possible to have an event that is increasingly rich in great artists and increasingly inclusive and differentiated throughout the year. Also this edition, like last year, will conclude with a major event during the summer solstice on 21 June 2025, which will ideally counterbalance the Christmas and winter period usually associated with Luci d'Artista.
