Migliore + Servetto

The site-specific light installation, created by Migliore+Servetto in 2017 for the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper, is a dynamic work, a wave of color sensitive to changes in light, and is articulated in two elements modelled on the “alpha” symbol; one is placed outside the 35th floor terrace and the other develops inside the greenhouse, the heart of the skyscraper. Like a stop-motion frame, a sequence of luminous scales generates a pulsating organism, perfectly inserted into the nature of the bioclimatic greenhouse, an iridescent vortex that breathes and vibrates in harmony with the wind and the environment that welcomes it, shaping itself in natural light and transforming itself in darkness.
