The artwork was created in 2017 to be exhibited at PAV - Parco Arte Vivente (Living Art Park), opened in Turin in 2008, a place in which all the experiences related to the artist Piero Gilardi's Nature/Culture dialectic are accomplished. L’albero del PAV, adorned with colorful arabesque lights, intends to become an auspicious symbolic prelude for the citizens who will adventure to enter the PAV, amidst fragrant green bushes, in search of the signs of an ecological art that celebrates our fascination for nature. The figure of the tree, in all human cultures, in space and time, is very significant as a symbolic link between earth and sky.
